How was today? Today was a day. Bad things happened; Shitty things happened. Good things happened; Miracles happened. I opened my eyes; I opened my mouth; I opened my soul And filled in with lemonade. I laughed so hard I cried. I cried so hard that all I could do was laugh. I felt sick; I felt high; I felt content. Today? Today is not over: Today is everyday; Today is every moment. Today is a day. How was yours?

Four people sitting in a garden Pretending not to see each other, Two pretending not to know each other. Three young, too smart for their ages One older, and wizened by the smoke Hands rough and familiar with work and pain. With a face that easily smiles, But not for these three, for he is thinking of someone who’s not there. One quiet and quick and afraid to be known, Afraid that the two will know, be familiar, and hate. So he forgets first. One loud, afraid to be quiet, Lest someone finds out that he doesn’t belong. He thinks he is lucky, being with the other two, Because he is so familiar with being only one.

1. If Jesus was present at the moment before his birth, he would have requested his parents refrain from naming him after the Savior of the world. They could have picked Paul, John, Matthew, even Zacharias would do- any biblical character other than Jesus! Not that He had a Problem with Jesus, but being his name sake left very big shoes to fill. I mean, the guy walked on water and returned from the dead, how was he supposed to live up to that? But as Jesus had no say in the matter, he got stuck with being the Failure Jesus, The Loser Jesus, The Non-world-changing Jesus. The reason for braille signs??

There's something that always bothered me, maybe someone can explain it for me: ***Before I get started, a DISCLAIMER: I am NOT trying to be rude, insensitive, or in any other way disrespectful to any particular group or handicap, its just my personal questions and curiosity.*** That being said, I don't understand Braille signs. How are the blind supposed to find a sign six inches in diameter on a six by twelve wall??? Do they just run their hand up and down the wall till they find it? How to they know how high it is from the floor and how far it is from the door? And when they finally do find it, how can said person be sure that it labels
